You're absolutely correct! An occlusion of the right paramedian branches of the basilar artery would injure the right CN VI, abducens, so the right eye would not be able to abduct, or "look" laterally. Those vessels also supply the right ventral caudal pons where the right corticospinal tract runs, so this would also be associated with a contralateral, spastic paralysis.
